Likardia is a New Zealand start up created by two sisters, Amanda and Miriam, based off the river banks of the Waikato Awa. With backgrounds in Finance and Fashion design, we've teamed up to explore what's possible when we celebrate and champion each other, family and our natural God given talents. 

As a brand name Likardia" is inspired by Lidia of Thyatira, a purple cloth dealer who bridged nobility and commoners alike, known for her grace, hospitality, and heart. Our brand name blends Lidia with the Greek word kardia (heart), reflecting her warmth and inclusive spirit. Her legacy of distinguished entrepreneurship and love for all people lies at the core of our brand
